REVIEW ON ANTIAGEING AND WELLNESS

Anti-aging really is possible. In labs and medical clinics throughout the country, new discoveries continue to allow us to understand and intervene in the aging process.

Though we can't prevent time from passing, we can at least take advantage of these recent scientific advances to help us live and enjoy longer.

Of course, we should always consult with our personal physician before starting any exercise, vitamin, supplement program, or use any new products. The cited products, exercises, vitamins, neutraceuticals, etc., are only a suggested procedure, and in no way, substitute, or alternate profiles, for the conventional treatment profile as suggested/ advised by your physician. The cited methodologies are meant to reinforce your recovery path, and thus may help you in reducing your span of worry and agony.

1. Keep the homocysteine level low.

High levels of homocysteine connect strongly with most degenerative diseases of aging, like heart attacks and strokes. Our doctor can test the homocysteine with a simple blood test. If it's too high, it's easy and inexpensive to lower it by taking a good B-complex supplement that includes B12, folic acid, B6, and B2 (riboflavin).

2. Eat less.

Make every meal count. Make sure each meal provides the nutrients you need, especially protein.

Monitor the starches consumption and don't overindulge. For this to be most effective, one must reduce our Calories intake to about two-thirds of what it takes to maintain our normal weight. Initial weight loss tapers off as metabolism adjusts to a lower rate.

3. Exercise

Physical activity can prevent or delay the onset of hypertension, obesity, heart disease, falls, and osteoporosis.

4. Get plenty of antioxidants in your diet.

A diet rich in antioxidants will prevent free-radical damage. So enjoy a glass of Super Morandi Citrofelia and eat lots of berries, Liquid Spirulina, Aloe Vera and consume Vitamin ACES (Vit. A,C,E, & Selenium) occasionally.

5. Supplement with CoQ10.

This nutrient is an armor against heart disease.. Having a high CoQ10 level and a low homocysteine level are huge factors in keeping you out of the Expected Risk of any Heart/ Cardio Vascular attack. Of course this does not mean you consume only CoQ10, and avoid your advised HTN drugs like Losartan Potassium, Frusemide, Calcium Channel Blockers, Nitrates, etc.

7. Get lab results.

In addition to having our doctor check the homocysteine, have him check the Testosterone, Estrogen, CoQ10, and HGH ( Human Growth Hormone).

If possible follow a natural treatment regimen to correct imbalances, in addition to your suggested remedies, for a speedier recovery.

8. Consider supplementing with HGH.

Growth hormone injections, carefully monitored by a physician, can directly reverse some ageing effects. They can improve muscle strength and mass, reduce wrinkles and sagging skin, and decrease joint pain and inflammation.

But this should be done under the strict vigil of a well trained physician. Some herbal Growth Hormones are now available in the market too, but their effectiveness, and compatibility, to our system, is subject to consider, on case to case basis, and should not be consumed on merely after going through the literatures.

9. Detox periodically.

To maintain their optimal function, it is recommended to detoxify your Colon and liver at least three times a year. This can be achieved by allowing your system to fast for 1 day. Consume plenty of fluids during that day, followed by a Probiotic regime for at least 7days, from the next day.

10. Don't worry, be happy.

A good sense of humor and a tension free life helps in increasing your life span.
